HCCAC Volunteer Program

Are your dreams  filled with thoughts of WHAT COULD BE? Do you often think of doing SOMETHING BIG, something to make your community better?   When you become an HCCAC volunteer, that’s exactly what happens! You get to bring improve life your  family, friends, and  neighbors in your community…. One event, one project at a time!

HCCAC’s mission is to increase arts access for underserved communities and to preserve, share, and celebrate the histories and cultures of Black and Brown people.  It’s true that our programs are high quality, engaging events, but there’s so much more to it than that!

We give a voice and a platform to communities and artists who are often marginalized and underrepresented.  Additionally, as the sole source for the arts and culture in Unincorporated East Harris County, we are bringing about transformative change within our communities – increasing economic opportunity, advancing social justice, improving quality of life, creating understanding, and building connectedness through shared experiences and celebrations. It’s a BIG VISION, and we can’t accomplish it without you.

Volunteer at HCCAC today and be Part of Something Big!
