HCCAC Announces Sam Smoot as Director of Institutional Development
Houston, TX. — Friday, January 29, 2021 — Sam Smoots joins Harris County Cultural Arts Council. Harris County Cultural Arts Council is excited to announce that Sam Smoots has joined the team! Sam is a seasoned international business and economic development specialist whose experience includes eight years as Business Development Manager for Sub-Saharan Africa for the Overseas Private Investment Corporation “OPIC”, an independent agency of the US government. He most recently served as Civic Engagement and Investment Manager for the Houston Museum of African American Culture. Sam will lead HCCAC’s organizational development efforts as Director of Institutional Advancement.
